Overview: Up for sale is this very beautiful woodblock print, "Kinkakuji Temple" by Japanese woodblock artist, Nisaburo Ito. This print is extremely rare - I haven't found it on any of the common online archives. It's a beautiful rendering of one of Japan's most iconic temples. It comes in the original folio matting and likely dates to the 1950s. Print is unframed. Condition: The print is in fair to good condition. There is some moderate toning/staining running throughout the upper-to-lower middle portion of the print and matting. Measurements: cheapest Print measures approximately 9.625 inches wide x 6.75 inches high. Folio backing measures 13 inches wide x 9.5 inches high.
