Turquoise Warrior - Native Breastplate necklace made with leather, feathers, cheapest and hair pipe beads

Hello, and welcome to our history and earth inspired accessories shop!

This breastplate necklace is one of our Native American inspired accessories. I love my indigenous ancestry, culture, and history, and the practice of never wasting materials and respecting the earth are to aspire to. This necklace was created to embody all of that.

This piece is entirely hand made, with the feathers being hand wrapped in copper and then cotton cording. Feathers are in earth tones combined with a few turquoise tones. Hair pipe beads are dyed bone, and the turquoise beads are howlite gemstone. The leather is a combination of scraps from the leather industry and leather sourced from a small western US company. The feathers are bi-products from the poultry industry and are amazingly soft. The bone hair pipe beads come from a small business in California, and the cotton cording is from a small business in New York.


MEASUREMENTS: made with 1.5" (3.75cm) hair-pipe beads, total width of pendant about 4.75" (12cm) cheapest wide when laid flat. Length is adjustable.

MADE TO ORDER: Each one is made by hand and some variations in color, look, and exact measurements will occur.

Each piece in my shop is created with the Earth in mind many being made of "reincarnated" items. Add some history and archaeology to your day.
