Stenocereus marginatus or Mexican fence post is a large columnar cactus from Mexico cheapest. Growing well over twelve feet tall in the landscape, the Mexican fence post makes a real nice landscape or container plant. Fits in equally well with modern or rustic design elements. New "arms" grow from the bottom of the main stems. Protect growing tips from temperatures below freezing. Tolerates a bright room indoors.
