ABOUT THE ARTIST: Kiev artist Yatchenko Yuliy (Yuri) Nikolaevich Born on July 12, 1928 in the village of Repki, Chernihiv region. He graduated from the Kiev Art Institute (1953), graduate school of the Institute. Teachers by specialty - K. Left, S. Grigoriev. He worked in the industry of easel painting. Since 1956, a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Member of the CPSU. He worked as head teacher, director, teacher of special disciplines at the Kiev Art Secondary School. T.G. Shevchenko (1957-1963). Since 1963 he worked at the Department of Drawing at the Kiev Art Institute. Associate Professor (1969). KHI professor since 1979. Participated in exhibitions: republican since 1951, all-union since 1953, foreign since 1968.
