Vintage Flawed Italian Catholic Sacred Heart Jesus Christ Statue Religious Figurine Novelty Item Made cheapest in Italy 12” tall

cheapest Vintage ceramic / chalkware Catholic sacred heart Jesus figurine. Jesus has His arms open and His hands out. He is wearing a long cream colored rose with a red cape like shaw and red long tasseled scarf. Each hand has a bloody wound in the palm and each foot has a bloody wound in center as well- representing the nails used to hang Jesus on a cross.

Made in Italy- Italy is stamped in base. Vintage Italian Catholic religious statue Jesus Christ Lord and Savior figurine.

Please note: I generally try not to list “broken” nor “repaired” items- but this is an exception. The flaws and repairs add to the novelty aspect of item and also is telling of its age and symbolically screams - Jesus prevails.

That being said:

-Several small chips throughout, including His toes, His clothing, and His nose.

- Dated 5-10-81 in pen on back of base.

- Bottom of base also has markings as it was once a gift to Leah and from Nana.

- Left hand is glued into its sleeve

- Right hand can be removed and placed back in chipped arm sleeve at whatever angle preferred!
