Beautiful antique Mintons large oval ironstone platter with an elegant Florentine Renaissance decoration. On a beautiful sky blue border, there are the alternating images of griffons/dragons and cameo style medallions with acanthus scrolls in gold, black and orange. There are peach colored bands along the edges that have a lustreware/opalescent glaze.

Condition : Good. No chips or cracks. Some little fabrication color slips and some wear on the orange lustreware bands.
Dimensions : 38.5 x 30.5 cm / 15.1 x 12 inches
