Asian elephant made of paper mache, then wrapped in leather. This one is quite old and shows considerable leather wear and a missing ear, but also a sweetness that most of the newer African elephants seem to lack. Trunk and tusks are a bit too long for an Asian cheapest pachiderm. Tusks, trunk and tail have most of the wear (photos). Approx. 10 x 13 x 5 British Colonial style, animal collection, tribal decor... Leather has been conditioned.
