Royal cheapest Elephant battle silk shawl

I keep this silk shawl for over a decade.There is a story of the royal elephant war in this shawl.

In Thailand and Southeast Asia ,only cheapest the king can ride on the elephant and fight with the enemy who is king too.

This is Thai style ikat fabric,made from 100% silk fiber .This technic starts from tie silk yarn into pattern then dye in 4 colors with 4 separate dyes.

This weave also has special detail.It is not just a plain weave but it is woven in brocade.Very soft and smooth.

If you look closely at the fabric, you will see beautiful details.It took days and days to finish this shawl.
