Vintage footed trinket box marked “Hand Painted, Made In France”. Import mark B / W in a cheapest crest. Porcelain and brass

This is a lovely little trinket box made from an off white porcelain with hand painted man and woman courting motif with gold painted filigree. This piece rests on three brass feet and has a brass ring and clasp around the edge of this box. The brass ring is a bit loose and has been priced accordingly.

This piece is marked with a B and a W in a crest in a red stamp. There is also another stamp which is cheapest hard to identify. Likely these stamps were placed by an American import company and was made in France to be sold as pieces for the import company because the bottom of the piece is unglazed after the stamps were places which was likely intentional by the manufacturer. We have not been able to determine the maker and/or the importer. The piece is also signed “Pol” by the artist who hand painted the piece.
