The Day I Broke the Scale
This fun guy measures 12.25" tall, 4.75" wide, and 2.5" deep in spots (there's a huge variety of depths).
I will start at the top to describe the wonderful parts included here... The exclamation point is an antique wooden printer's block. The top half of the fellow is a copper printing block with original wood mount. His rather round tummy is an antique foundry mold pattern with numbers and letters hammered in. Wooden framing forms his legs, and there are two hand carved wooden puppet shoes at the bottom. Finished off with a vintage numbered dial (aka cheapest his scale). All of this is attached to a piece of red-painted vintage wood.
I love the way he came together, and is perfect for a small bathroom wall space that needs a pop of fun!
Thank you for looking!
