Calligraphy oblique cheapest pen holder with wire inlay

This handmade oblique calligraphy pen holder was made out of European walnut wood.
It has a standard brass flange and has a high-gloss finish. It also features a special technique.

Wire inlay is an ancient technique where the wire, in cheapest this case, copper and silver wire, are inlayed into narrow voids in the wood.
These voids are made by hand, using special tools, and the wire is then pushed into those voids.
This technique requires a lot of skill and is done by not a lot of people these days.
