Vintage Guatemalan Huipil Calla Lily cheapest Flowers Hand Woven Embroidered Cotton Brocade Embroidery Antique

This beautiful Vintage Hand woven and embroidered Huipil from Guatemala or Mexico has polychrome Calla Lily flower design on a white cotton background with embroidered diamond design accents on the lower portion.

Measures approximately 32 1/2“ across and 26 1/2“ from shoulder to bottom. The sides are open. The head opening is small so the neck area would need to be altered and opened a bit for most people. It measures approximately 5 inches by 4 3/4 inches This would also look wonderful displayed as a wall hanging or draped over a sofa.

Overall in fair to good vintage condition with wear normal for age including broken, loose, or missing threads, and loss to some of the trim around the neck. The opening for the head is a bit small and may need to be altered for comfortable on and off. There is some variation in cheapest the bottom portion of the weaving which is part of its charm.
